Advanced nerve and muscle diagnostic testing that pinpoints exactly what’s causing your pain, numbness, or weakness.
Reviews
You’ve been dealing with numbness in your hands, shooting pain down your leg, or muscle weakness that makes simple tasks difficult. Multiple doctors, different opinions, but still no clear answers.
Nerve and muscle testing changes that. These diagnostic tests measure exactly how your nerves and muscles are functioning, revealing conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, peripheral neuropathy, or muscle disorders that other tests miss.
When you know what’s actually wrong, you can stop guessing and start treating the real problem. No more wondering if it’s serious. No more trying treatments that don’t work because they’re targeting the wrong issue.
We have been serving the Englewood and North Jersey communities with specialized nerve and muscle diagnostic testing. Our team uses advanced electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction study equipment to provide accurate diagnoses.
Our board-certified physicians interpret every test, ensuring you get expert analysis of your results. We accept most insurance plans and provide same-day results so you’re not left waiting for answers.
Located conveniently in Englewood, we have helped thousands of patients finally understand their nerve and muscle conditions.
The nerve conduction study comes first. Small electrodes are placed on your skin, and mild electrical pulses measure how fast signals travel through your nerves. This reveals nerve damage, compression, or dysfunction.
Next is the EMG test. A thin needle electrode is inserted into specific muscles to measure electrical activity. This shows whether muscle weakness comes from nerve problems or muscle disorders themselves.
Both tests take about 45 minutes total. You’ll get your results immediately, along with a clear explanation of what they mean. Most patients describe the discomfort as mild and temporary – far less than the chronic symptoms that brought them in.

Your nerve and muscle testing includes both EMG and nerve conduction studies in one appointment. The comprehensive evaluation covers upper and lower extremities, depending on your symptoms.
Testing can diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy, radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, muscle myopathy, and other neuromuscular conditions. You’ll also receive detailed interpretation by specialists who understand these conditions.
Our Englewood location serves patients throughout Bergen County and surrounding areas. Most insurance plans cover diagnostic nerve and muscle testing when medically necessary, and our staff handles authorization requirements.
